No Comfort Zone (Week 8!)

It’s time to point the finger again and direct your attention to yet another blogger who’s accepted the NO Comfort Zone Weekly Challenge and jumped in with 2 tasks that took her out of her everyday ho-hum comfort zone and put her in a place where she rarely visits. Take a few minutes and visit Judith at Diabetic Redemption.

And Cris at Odd and Ends Thoughts has joined as well.

Before you head back to your comfy chair, click and read about Carol’s huge leap into a place she didn’t even plan to go.  A baby step for some, a giant step for her! Way to go Carol at Quillfyre!

As for me, I changed the password on my iPod. Think about it. Every time I turn it on, I enter the old password. Simple changes keep my brain cells popping!

  1. What an interesting way to stretch…never really considered it but it works, huh. Last week when it became time to change one of the many passwords on an application that I use at work I realized that I simply can’t retain all of these PW’s in my brain…I think I can but really I can’t. I opened up the notebook and began to record them for every application I use I made an entry. Filled 2 pages before I was done. For me that was a stretch(now I don’t have to remember the PW’s just where I recorded them.)

    • Now, keep that list under lock and key and most important of all — remember where you stored it! The hard part is keeping it up to date with those accounts that require new passwords after 60 or 90 days! We say we’ll remember the password and after a few tries …

  2. Thanks for the referral, Marge Katherine. As this is Monday, I am already thinking about what new thing I should do. As I said before, this challenge is the perfect kick in the pants to shake me out of my complacency!

  3. Hi,
I’m another one that has to write down my passwords, just too many to keep track of. Putting in your old password instead of your new one has happened to me as well, all you can do is smile. 🙂

  5. How wonderful you’re going to feel when you get one project done and feel clutter drift away. Start small – like one drawer, one closet or even one cubboard. Best of luck and keep us updated on your clutter free home!
