Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you imagined.
Well, I never imagined anything called a blog when I was growing up – and if I did, I’d probably wonder why in the world ANYONE would write in a blog.
Perhaps I didn’t have a big enough imagination or most likely, I censored my dreams. Maybe I was in the “Let’s be Real” mode instead of the “DREAM REALLY BIG” mode. And that’s ok.
What’s not ok is to accept the “Let’s be Real” mode when the DREAM REALLY BIG door is right there, unlocked and waiting for me to enter.
No excuses. Just the desire, focus and the ability to turn the door knob.
I wonder – when you were asked as a kid what you wanted to be – did you know? Did you actually step into that role or occupation?
Or were you like me and not really know what you wanted to be.
And, like me now … wondering where the time went and what’s next?
I certainly never thought blogging was part of the scenario and yet – I’ve learned so much from my blogging friends, my writing has improved and I have the ability to share my knowledge and insights as well.
Imagine if I told my first grade teacher (Sister Mary Walter) I wanted to be a Blogger! She might have washed out my mouth with soap!
